WISHART SHARES COUNCIL’S FRUSTRATION AS CITY HALLS SAGA ROLLS ON

The Scottish National Party’s Mr Pete Wishart MP, Member of Parliament for Perth & North Perthshire, has said that he shares the frustration being felt by local councillors forced to restart the marketing process of Perth City Hall.
Mr Wishart said:
“I am certain that most people in Perth are sick and tired of the way in which the City Halls saga continues to drag on and on. We get bright idea after bright idea but there never seems to be any backing for these plans and they fall by the wayside. Meanwhile the City Halls sit there, unused, unloved and increasingly unwelcome.
“The elected Councillors’ plans for a civic square have been delayed over and over again and the whole affair is achieving nothing other than costing the taxpayers of the Fair City every time there is another delay.”
