WISHART TO ATTEND BLAIRGOWRIE REGENERATION MEETING

Member of Parliament for Perth and North Perthshire, Mr. Pete Wishart, will this evening [Tuesday] attend the Blairgowrie Town Centre Regeneration Meeting at the Adult Resource Centre in Blairgowrie to meet with Community Councillors and other local groups and campaigners such as Blairgowrie and Rattray in Bloom, Strathmore and the Glens Rural Partnership, BEPTA (Blairgowrie and East Perthshire Tourist Association) and Strathmore Centre for Youth Development.

Mr Wishart said before the meeting:

“There has been so much hard work recently to help encourage regeneration in Blairgowrie and I am delighted to support these campaigns in whatever way that I can. Blairgowrie is great place to live and I want to ensure that the town gets access to all the funding and support it deserves.

“My colleague John Swinney MSP, local councillors and I have been keen and consistent supporters of the efforts the regenerate the Blairgowrie and Rattray area and I am very much looking forward to discussing and promoting proposals brought forward this evening.”
