WISHART WELCOMES RUNRIG FANS TO PERTHSHIRE'S BIGGEST EVER LIVE SHOW

Speaking ahead of a super Saturday of Perthshire events former Runrig member and Perth and North Perthshire MP, Pete Wishart said:


“This weekend there is barely a bed to be had in Perthshire with the Runrig show, Blair Atholl Horsetrials and the Birnam Highland Games. This is great for Perthshire and fantastic for the local economy.


“I particularly would like to welcome the 15,000 or so Runrig fans from all round the world who are heading our way and I hope they enjoy a fantastic time in Perthshire.


“I enjoyed 18 years with the band and we in that time we played some spectacular concerts. The Scone Palace gig will be very special addition to the Runrig list of top shows. The setting is spectacular and it is now likely to be Perthshires biggest ever live show.


“I hope everybody enjoys the show safely and make sure that they give themselves extra time to get in.”
