WISHART’S DAY OUT IN THE CARSE OF GOWRIE

Member of Parliament for Perth and Perthshire, Mr Pete Wishart, will tomorrow [Tuesday] be spending a day in the Carse of Gowrie hosting surgeries in St Madoes, Errol, Invergowrie and Longforgan as well as visiting the Scottish Crop Research Institute.

Speaking before his visit Mr Wishart said:

“Even though my Perth and Blairgowrie constituency offices are very accessible to the public, I feel it is extremely important to get out and about in the Carse of Gowrie to many of the smaller communities which make up Perth and North Perthshire.

“During the recess I have been endeavouring to get round every corner of my massive constituency and I want to hear from the people of Perthshire. The most important part of being a Member of Parliament is finding out what constituents really think about the big issues of the day.

“These surgeries provide me with an opportunity to travel around the constituency and meet those who are not able to meet me in my constituency office.
