SWINNEY AND WISHART TO SUPPORT CANCER CHARITY

North Tayside MSP, Mr John Swinney, and Perth and North Perthshire MP, Mr Pete Wishart, will be opening up their Blairgowrie constituency office on Friday 6th November for a coffee morning to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support.

It was not possible for the politicians to run a coffee morning at the time of the “Biggest Coffee Morning in the World”, this year. They did, however, wish to support the cause.

Commenting on the event, Mr Swinney said:

“I have been a long-standing supporter of coffee mornings for MacMillan Cancer Support and it is a pleasure to, once more, have one in my Blairgowrie office.

“I hope that as many constituents as possible come along to support this event.”

Mr Wishart added:



"I look forward to welcoming constituents to the office on Friday and I hope that they will enjoy a coffee and a chat.

"MacMillan Cancer Support undertakes great work and I hope that this event will be well supported."
