WISHART OPENS ENERGY AWARENESS FAIR
Speaking after performing the official opening at the Energy Awareness Fair organised by Letham Climate Change today (Friday), Mr Pete Wishart MP, Member of Parliament for Perth and North Perthshire said:
“I was very pleased to be invited to perform the official opening this morning and I am delighted to be here.
“Energy awareness is a hugely important part of responding to the climate challenge. Responding to climate change is not all about government targets, it is about communities and individuals understanding the impact they are having on climate change and the impact climate change can have on all of our lives.
“That is why the Scottish Government is funding organisations like Letham Climate Challenge through the Climate Challenge Fund and why I am pleased that the Fair is being attended by such a wide range of organisations, including SCARF, Scottish Hydro Electric, Perth and Kinross Council, Citizens Advice and Perthshire Housing Association.”
