WISHART WELCOMES BROADBAND BOOST FOR LOCAL COMMUNITIES

Mr Pete Wishart MP, Member of Parliament for Perth and North Perthshire, has welcomed the announcement today (Wednesday) by the Scottish Government of a broadband capacity upgrade for the exchanges at Bridge of Balgie, Bridge of Gaur, Tummel Bridge, Amulree, Butterstone, Strathardle, Trochry, Fern and Menmuir.

Mr Wishart said:

“I am extremely that the Scottish Government have been able to direct resources to these exchanges in my constituency where capacity upgrades were needed to cope with the demand that was being placed upon them.

“Continuing to improve access to broadband services is essential in this modern world, particularly in rural areas and once more we are seeing the Scottish Government delivering good news for the people of Perthshire.”
