WISHART WISHES EAST OF SCOTLAND FARMERS LIMITED A HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Mr Pete Wishart MP, Member of Parliament for Perth and North Perthshire will be visiting the East of Scotland Farmers Limited Fiftieth Anniversary Open Day in Coupar Angus at 2.15pm this afternoon.

Speaking in advance of the visit, Mr Wishart said:

"I have visited East of Scotland Farmers Limited on anumber of occasions in the past so I am delighted to be able to join with them on today's Open Day and to wish everyone concerned all the very best on this, their 50th anniversary.

"Half a century of success in providing service to their members shows the strength and importance of local co-operative enterprises like EOSF.

"By working together, local farmers are able to provide themselves with and impressive range of essential services related to their business and that has to be really good news for the local economy.

"I hope everyone has a really good day and I look forward to another fifty fruitful years."
