WISHART HIGHLIGHTS SCHEME TO PUT LOCAL HEROES CENTRE STAGE

The Scottish National Party’s Mr Pete Wishart MP, Member of Parliament for Perth & North Perthshire, has highlighted a scheme being run by the Clydesdale Bank to honour folk who do outstanding work in their community.

Speaking today (Wednesday) Mr Wishart said:

“We all know of folk who do outstanding work within our local communities and it is great to be able to repay the efforts of these unsung heroes by giving them a bit of a treat.

“Centre Stage! is a scheme being run by the Clydesdale Bank to shine a light on someone that makes a real difference in their community by providing an unforgettable VIP experience at The SSE Hydro for an upcoming show.

“They are looking for nominations for local heroes who deserve some special recognition for their hard work.  I know that there are plenty of volunteers involved in a wide range of groups and organisations in communities throughout my constituency.

“Nominations can be submitted through a special website and I would also be more than happy to pass on any nominations.”
