WISHART CONGRATULATES MERLIN ERD ON SECOND QUEEN’S AWARD
Mr Pete Wishart MP, Member of Parliament for Perth & North Perthshire has welcomed the news that Perth-based drilling engineering consultancy Merlin ERD has been awarded a second Queen’s Award for Enterprise in recognition of their outstanding performance in the International Trade sector.
Congratulating the company. Mr Wishart said:
“Queen’s Awards are highly prized within the business community, representing a recognition that the recipient has attained the highest level of excellence within their category.
“To be recognised a second time is a superb achievement and it is absolutely fantastic to see a Perth company doing so well.
“It is important to note that this award recognises not just that Merlin have doubled their overseas turnover in the last three years with employee numbers having grown by nearly fifty per cent, they have done this during a period of particular difficulty for their sector, the oil and gas industry.
“Many congratulations to everyone involved in Merlin, this award has been earned through a great deal of hard work and reflects well on every single one of you.”
